2026 Employment Law Update

Jared Speier will present the most recent employment law updates for 2026. Topics to be addressed include new legislation for 2026, necessary changes to employee handbooks, important wage and hour developments, as well as other areas of concern to employers, with a focus on practical guidance for implementing policies to maintain compliance in an ever-changing legal sphere.
Speaker: Jared W. Speier is a Partner in Stradling’s Employment Law practice group. Jared has significant experience representing employers in single plaintiff wrongful termination, discrimination, and other matters as well as large scale complex class action and PAGA lawsuits. Jared has successfully litigated and disposed of many claims whether by obtaining summary judgment or defeating class certification. Jared has extensive experience in both state and federal court, as well several arbitral forums.
