Thank you for visiting the Santa Barbara County Bar Association (SBCBA).

The SBCBA is concerned about the privacy of both our members and the public. We use industry standard technology to ensure that our transaction processes are safe, and that the information we collect is secure.

SBCBA Members

We collect your name, address, email, telephone number and other data such as your practice area(s), date of admission to the Bar, and Section/Committee membership.

In limited cases, we may provide certain businesses with your US Postal address for a one-time, pre-authorized mailing so that those businesses can inform you of services and products. The ability to offer this information allows SBCBA to expand its resources in order to provide more services to you as a member. All businesses and items intended to be mailed are reviewed in advance by SBCBA to ensure you are not sent undesirable information and that your name will not appear on any other lists held by third parties. Please rest assured that we only provide such information after a careful review of the product or service offering. Our goal always is to provide you only with products and services that you will find useful.

Signing Up for Events & Programs

We collect information from both members and the public when signing up for our events or when participating in our programs. This may include name, address, email, telephone number, and credit card information.

The SBCBA website enables visitors to make payments online using their credit card. The information collected by the SBCBA during these transactions is used solely by the SBCBA for the purposes of completing that transaction, and the information collected during those transactions is not sold to any third-party vendors.

Thank you.
