Proposed Local Court Rules
Please Take Notice that the Superior Court, County of Santa Barbara intends to adopt new rules adn amend current rules regarding traffic cases. Pursuant to CRC 10.613(g)(3)(b), the court has posted the new and amended rules which will go into effect on January 1, 2016. Hard copies of the local rules are available upon request.
Wrongful Termination
Employees in the state of California are considered “at will” which means that either an employee or an employer can terminate a working relationship at any time with or without reason. There are, however, exceptions. An employee cannot be fired because of discrimination, breach of contract, or retaliation.
